The purpose of this area of the website is to post interesting newspaper articles, brochures, pictures of items, and other objects that describe the history of the Garden State Parkway. This page will be updated periodically to include additional items from my Parkway collection.

Above, you will find "The First Five Years of the Garden State Parkway: 1954-1959" published by the New Jersey Highway Authority as well as "Autobiography of a Parkway" from the New York Times, published in 1964. The quality is not the best, but it will give you a good idea as to the history of the Garden State Parkway and how amazing the technologies were for their time.
